This interactive, workshop-style course provides an in-depth understanding of mental health and wellbeing. Learners develop the confidence to recognise signs of declining mental health and use the practical A.C.T.© action plan to offer appropriate support in both emergency and longer-term situations.
Topics include common mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, challenging stigma, understanding stress, recognising alarm bells, coping strategies, recovery and self-care.
