Intervention Programmes

Why Us

At CoachUnlimited, we understand that some children need a little extra support to thrive, whether that is with confidence, engagement, behaviour, physical development or social skills.

Our intervention programmes are designed to remove barriers to learning and participation through targeted, supportive and structured sessions that meet children where they are and help them move forward.

We take time to understand each school’s priorities and the specific needs of pupils. Programmes are then carefully planned to support individual and small group development, while aligning with wider school strategies and expectations.

What makes our interventions different is the quality of our coaches and the relationships they build. Children feel safe, valued and encouraged, which allows real progress to happen.

Our interventions:

  • Are delivered by knowledgeable, highly trained and professional coaches
  • Create positive and inclusive environments where every child can succeed
  • Build confidence, resilience, teamwork and self-belief
  • Support physical, emotional and social development
  • Encourage positive attitudes towards activity and learning

The impact is children who are more engaged, more confident and better equipped to take part in PE, sport and wider school life.

What’s on Offer

Our intervention programmes are carefully designed to support different age groups and needs, helping children build confidence, resilience and positive habits through structured, supportive activity.

Each programme is delivered by experienced coaches in a safe, inclusive environment and can be tailored to suit the needs of your school.

Boys: Banter, Bravery & Bravado.

The “Boys: Bravado, Banter and Bravery” programme is an engaging half-day workshop designed to support boys in Year 6 as they navigate the often challenging transition from childhood into early adolescence.

With anxiety levels rising and increasing pressures from school, sport and social expectations, the session creates a safe and interactive space to explore topics such as banter versus bullying, respect and tolerance, managing pressure, and building genuine self-esteem.

Led by positive male role models, the workshop uses discussion, activities, video content and real-life scenarios to encourage honest conversation and practical thinking. Each participant receives a workbook to use on the day and keep, and schools receive a feedback summary report to measure impact.

Designed for groups of up to 15 boys and delivered on school premises, the programme equips young people with the resilience, awareness and confidence they need to move forward with strength and integrity.

Energise Club

A 12 week programme designed for less active or disengaged KS2 pupils who need a positive reintroduction to physical activity.

Energise Club focuses on helping children develop confidence, involvement and motivation while gently encouraging healthy habits that last beyond the school gates.

Through structured and enjoyable sessions, pupils explore:

  • Play and movement as tools for wellbeing
  • Making healthier everyday choices
  • Building sustainable habits
  • Enjoying exercise without pressure or comparison
  • Developing confidence through new skills and experiences

The emphasis is always on encouragement, progress and enjoyment.

Smart Moves

A supportive motor skills programme designed for children in EYFS and KS1.

Smart Moves helps young children build coordination, confidence and a love of movement from an early age. The programme gently guides pupils through three key stages:

  1. Friendly screening session
A relaxed, child centred session using simple activities to identify children who may benefit from additional physical support.
  2. Weekly development sessions
Progressive, adaptable activities linked to the PE curriculum, allowing every child to grow at their own pace.
  3. Progress check ins
Light touch assessments to celebrate improvement and guide next steps.

All Smart Moves resources remain with the school, ensuring the benefits continue well beyond the programme itself.

Strong Girls Can

An interactive and inspiring workshop designed to build confidence, self esteem and resilience in young women.

Through engaging discussions and practical activities, Strong Girls Can supports girls to:

  • Develop confidence and self belief
  • Build healthy friendships
  • Understand and navigate peer pressure
  • Raise aspirations
  • Develop a positive body image

Delivered in a relaxed and supportive environment, the workshop encourages girls to celebrate who they are and to grow confidently and unapologetically.
